b291 - In addedValues, a trope is a web application that can be moved from one Manila website (the trope server) to another (the trope client) anywhere on the Internet, in a one click operation. The server includes a user interface for developers declaring the components of each trope. Much of the trope server is implemented using addedValues which permits each trope server to be customised extensively, even to the extent of adding a payment step to the installation. addedValues now ships with a functional trope client and a disabled trope server. After a period of testing, the server will be enabled in the shipping version. The first pubic trope server will be set up on the addedValues website at http://www.addedValues.org/ .
